AN INTERVIEW WITH DANIELLE RUPPERT

When did you start blogging?
I started blogging in mid December 2016, so not too long ago.

Why did you start blogging?
About two months ago, I had just finished my associates degree in college and decided to take a break since I had over loaded myself with working full time and going to school full time. With all the extra time I had, I thought I needed to find something I could do to keep me busy, as I am someone who has to be doing something almost 24/7. This is when I stumbled upon blogging. I decided that blogging would be a good way to keep me busy and would be a good hobby to cling to. Little did I know that it would become more than just a hobby but a passion that I hope to turn into a career!

How do find motivation for posts?
Since I am a lifestyle blogger, I love to blog about things that have improved or influenced my lifestyle. This breaks into different topics of beauty, skincare, life hacks, and even traveling. I love Love LOVE reading other blogs and getting inspiration from them, but for the most part, I enjoy writing my content based off my own life so that I can share my lifestyle with my readers and hopefully either inspire them or give advice.

Favourite film and why?
I am a huge comedy film lover and Jim Carrey is my definitely favorite comedian, so I would have to say that my favorite film would have to be The Truman Show. It is a movie about this guy name Truman (Jim Carrey) who lives in a TV show but believes it is his real life due to being put in the show when he was just a little boy. He then slowly starts realizing that his life is being staged and that weird things are happening around him that seem faked.  I absolutely love this film because it is emotional and funny at the same time. If you have not seen it yet, I would definitely recommend it! (P.S. It is on Netflix I believe).

What skin care products do you recommend?
My holy grail of skincare products is definitely The Body Shop Tea Tree Range. I started using their products about 3 months ago and it was the best decision for my skin! I struggle with acne, but the Tea Tree products, which include the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser, Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner, and Tea Tree Oil itself, have made such a difference in my skin with combating those pesky pimples. I would say that my favorite from the range would be the Tea Tree Oil itself because when I feel a pimple arising, I just dab a bit of Tea Tree Oil on the spot with a Q-tip and it is gone or reduced in size within 24 hours!

What’s your favourite dish to cook?
My favorite dish to cook would have to be my Chicken & Zucchini Alfredo Pasta! It is soo creamy and really easy to make. You get pasta, meat, and veggies in one dish and they all compliment each other in taste. I usually make quite a bit of it when I do make it so that I have left overs that I can take to work because it tastes pretty good warmed up as well!

Who is your blogging inspiration?
I would say that blogging inspiration would have to be Aspyn Ovard! She is a lifestyle blogger and youtuber who has made it pretty big on both platforms! I love reading her posts and watching her videos with her husband because they go on some amazing trips and have relatable content! I hope to travel as much as they do and see the world with my hubby! You can check her blog out at aspynovard.com.

What are your blogging tips and advice?
Even though I have not been blogging for that long, I have seen such growth and have learned so much from the short amount of time that I have been blogging. The biggest thing I can recommend is to connect. Be active in the blogging communities and make sure to connect with your readers! I have met some amazing people and bloggers through this experience by simply just getting out there and connecting. This is how you get your name out there and find some true readers that really do love you and your content.
