AN INTERVIEW WITH JAMIE CULLEN

Jamie Cullen is a 25 year old male fashion blogger from London. He can be found at cullenjamie.com.

When did you start blogging?
Summer of 2016 so fairly new!!

Why did you start blogging?
A lot of guys kept telling me that they liked my sense of style, that I didn’t wear traditional street wear style and embraced bold prints and varied silhouettes

Do you find it harder being a male blogger to attract an audience?
I think being a male blogger is no way near as saturated a market as the female blogging industry so in that respect it is easier – however it is certainly still hard to get cut through.

Where are your top 3 favourite places to shop?
My favourite brand hands down is Reclaimed Vintage which is sold on Asos, I’m literally obsessed with it, most of my wardrobe come from there! You can’t go wrong with Topman either, they have some really cool pieces at the moment in their Topman Design range! I’ve also started to really like New Look and River Island menswear, both of which have really come on leaps and bounds in the past few seasons.

Who is your style icon?
Dougie Poynter and Harry Styles

Do you have any other hobbies outside of blogging?
I’m a big gym goer, not to become a big muscle guy but just saying lean, and I’m running the London Marathon this year!

Who is your blogging inspiration?
I love Alexander Kenton who is a Canadian blogger, think he has a really great sense of style and amazing photos

What are your blogging tips and advice?
Investing in a good camera is a must! I know people say you can use your phone camera but the quality of photo is so great on a proper camera! I use an Olympus Pen and it was he best investment I ever made!!
